Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry has resolved to establish a Business Parliament with goals of improving the business legal environment and protecting entrepreneurs’ rights.
The Structure of the Business Parliament is set to resemble that of the State Great Khural, comprising of seven standing committees. However, the National Chamber of Commerce remarked that some additional committees would be necessary along the way.
The parliament’s operations would be focused primarily on rendering the State Grate Khural to take into consideration the opinions and proposals of private sector and entrepreneurs in making decisions and approving laws and resolutions relevant to business and economy; providing evaluations and recommendations on dissatisfactory points of the relevant laws, resolution and decisions; and further developing state and private sector partnership.
The National Chamber of Commerce would receive official requests and proposals to work in certain standing committees of the entities and entrepreneurs interested in taking part in the parliament.
Similar organizations exist in Europe, and the European Union countries establish Business Parliament from their Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
