As a result of persistent demand by the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Union, minimum monthly wage has been set to MNT 240,000.

The wage will be increased by 25% as agreed by Trilateral National Committee for Labor and Social Agreement (Confederation of Mongolian Trade Union, Mongolian Employers Federation and the Government of Mongolia). It will be effective starting from Jan 01, 2017.

The minimum monthly wage was set to MNT 192,000 in 2013. Since then no changes were made until today.
