MPP leader talks business relations with Chinese ambassador

S.Byambatsogt, head of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) faction in Parliament and head of the China-Mongolia Business Council, met with Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Wang Xiaolong on Thursday at the State Palace. The meeting focused on issues related to trade and business between the two nations.
During the meeting, Mongolian businesses representatives stated that the upcoming visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping tin honor of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia would be crucial in expanding business and trade relations. Meeting attendees also proposed issues to be discussed during the President’s visit.
The MPP leader echoed the sentiment and pledged that his party will work to ensure fruitful outcomes and resolutions during Xi Jinping’s visit, the first by a Chinese President in 11 years.
While in Mongolia, President Jinping is expected to sign more than 30 documents, nearly half of which pertain to trade and economics, to broaden the two countries’ relations.
The Mongolia-China Business Council includes representatives from all sectors that facilitate trade between the two nations.
