Unemployment rate and social insurance

A number of unemployed reached 35.9 thousand by the end of November of 2014 decreasing 7.0 thousand people or 16.3% against the previous year.

The revenue of the Social Insurance Fund amounted to MNT 1,201.6 billion, reflecting an increase of 1,24.2 billion or 11.5%, the expenditure of the fund reached MNT 1,180.1 billion, increasing 2,19.6 billion or 22.9% against 2013.

Some 1,28.2 billion Togrog was granted to 203.1 thousand people for pensions and welfare benefits from the Social Welfare Fund (SWF). Compared with the same period of 2013, the number of people who received pensions and welfare allowances went up 14.0 thousand people or 7.4%, the amount of the  pensions and allowances–by MNT 2.4 billion or 1.9%.

Some 2,18.2 billion was granted from the Human Development Fund to 990.5 thousand children below 18 as a cash benefit.
