The “Amnesty Law”, which was approved during the recent non-regular meeting of Parliament, is receiving savage criticism. People have started to show their exasperation at the changes to the “Amnesty Law”, which provides amnesty to corrupt officials. One example of this outrage was when approximately 30 youths, led by members of the “Mongolian Liberal Party”, organized a protest demonstration from the “Chinggis Hotel” to “Chinggis Square” with their cars. “Mongolia will be darken, the day corruption is whitewashed”, was one of the slogans the young people carried; another was – “Tell the people which MP’s voted for the “Amnesty Law”.
